Abu Jundal complains of harassment

Zabiuddin Ansari alias Abu Jundal, the alleged handler of the 26/11 terror attacks on Mumbai on Tuesday submitted his application to the special Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (Mcoca) court here against his ‘alleged harassment’ and objecting to the ‘style of confession and framing charges’ against him in his absence.
In the application, submitted through his counsel advocate Ejaz Naqvi, Ansari alleged that he was harassed by a judicial officer.
“He has been harassed by the judicial officer named Rathod, who forcefully made him sign some blank paper and typed statement,” said the application moved by Mr. Naqvi.
Ansari has also opposed the move of framing charges against him in his physical absence, at a time when ‘he has not understood the charges’ and when ‘he has not been allowed to interact with his lawyer properly till date.’
The Anti Terrorism Squad of Maharashtra police on January 9 submitted the draft charges against him to the special Mcoca court in the Aurangabad arms haul case.
