Aditya to be Sena core team member

While Uddhav Thackeray is scheduled for his formal installation as the president of the Shiv Sena on Wednesday, his son Aditya Thackeray is set to be inducted as a member of the Sena’s core team. The younger Thackeray, barely 22, currently heads the party youth wing Yuva Sena.
Every member of the core team is designated a “neta” under the system worked out by Bal Thackeray. There are nine of them at the moment. Four slots are vacant, including the two caused by the exit of Raj Thackeray and Narayan Rane. Aditya will remain the Yuva Sena Chief. The post was created when he was drafted for party work. Though he was too young then, the move was intended to counter the appeal of MNS chief Raj Thackeray among young voters.
