Dhaka, Jan 27 (PTI) At least seven women workers have been killed in stampede following a fire at a garment factory here, two months after the country's worst industrial fire killed over 100 people.
Fire enngulfed a readymade garment factory in Mohammadpur's Beribadh area yesterday afternoon.
The cause of the fire has not been ascertained yet and it could have originated from an electrical short-circuit, bdnews24.com quoted Fire Services Deputy Assistant Director Abdul Halim as saying.
